New York Rangers DFS Spin
Igor Shesterkin turned aside 40 of 41 shots during Monday’s 2-1 OT win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Shesterkin was awesome between the pipes for the Rangers in this one and he was a big reason why they managed to leave Toronto with two points. Artemi Panarin managed to find the game-winner in overtime. Shesterkin is clearly the best goaltending option the Rangers have and he should continue to see a lot of work. The 25-year-old has a 2-0-1 record with a 1.62 goals-against-average and a .949 save percentage. Those numbers will come down, but he needs to be started in all fantasy formats right now.
Nashville Predators DFS Spin
Juuse Saros stopped 25-of-26 shots in Tuesday’s 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings. Saros had a very solid outing against the Kings. He only allowed a single goal on a beautiful snipe by Anze Kopitar. Saros’ best save of the night came at the beginning of the second period when he shut the door on Rasmus Kupari with his pad to keep the game scoreless at that point. The 26-year-old owns a 1-2-0 record with a 2.03 goals-against average and .927 save percentage.
Rangers vs. Predators Betting Prediction
The road team is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams while the Rangers are 7-3 in their last 10 games in Nashville. The Rangers are also 14-5 in their last 19 games versus a team with a losing record and have cashed in four of their last five games after allowing two goals or less in their previous contest. On the other side, the Predators have dropped four of their last five games dating back to last season.
