Cal Peterson made 22 saves on 23 shots in Monday’s 3-1 win over the New York Rangers. Petersen kicked off the night by making a beautiful blocker-save on Ryan Strome to keep the game scoreless just 30 seconds into it. The rest of the night was relatively quiet for Petersen as he did not face a lot of rubber however made the necessary saves to give the Kings the victory. The 27-year-old owns a 7-5-1 record with a 2.70 goals-against average and .904 save percentage.
