Pittsburgh Penguins DFS Spin
Sidney Crosby registered three points via a goal and two assists in Saturday’s 6-3 loss to the Montreal Canadiens. Crosby did all of his damage in the third period, assisting on goals by Evan Rodrigues and Jeff Carter before getting it done himself with about a minute remaining in the contest. Despite all of this late action, the Canadiens managed to hold a lead from Christian Dvorak’s goal — scored with 3:05 gone in the third period — onward. This was Crosby’s first multi-point effort since coming back from wrist surgery to make his season debut at the end of October. While he has just two goals and six points in nine games this season, Crosby has plenty of fantasy upside for the rest of the campaign.
Calgary Flames DFS Spin
Matthew Tkachuk scored his 10th goal of the season on Saturday. Tkachuk found the back of the net just 26 seconds into the contest. Unfortunately for the Flames, they couldn’t capitalize on their early edge and eventually lost 4-2 to Winnipeg. Tkachuk has 19 points in 21 contests this season.
