Edmonton Oilers DFS Spin
Connor McDavid scored a goal in Tuesday’s 4-2 loss to the Detroit Red Wings. McDavid came through with a goal against Alex Nedeljkovic just 38 seconds into the third period. The Red Wings still held a one-goal lead at that point, though, and Edmonton would fail to score again over the remainder of regulation. Star forward McDavid, a consensus 1.1 pick for fantasy purposes, has been playing up to billing through 11 games this season, having now scored nine goals and 22 points. His end-season numbers are going to be majestic assuming he can stay healthy over the coming months.
Boston Bruins DFS Spin
Tuukka Rask (hip) skated with Bruins goalie coach Bob Essensa at Warrior Ice Arena on Monday. Rask, who is still an unrestricted free agent, is rehabbing from surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right hip. “I was told originally that the timeline for him to return to play — wherever that is, whether it’s Boston or somewhere else — would be January to February. I guess the best I can tell you is he’s on target for that,” Boston coach Bruce Cassidy said on Tuesday. Boston currently has Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman as their goalie duo.
Lightning vs. Maple Leafs Betting Prediction
The Oilers are 8-3 in their last 11 games against the Bruins and are 4-1 in their last five games in Boston. They’re also 9-2 in their last 11 games overall, are 10-3 in their last 13 road games and have won 25 of their last 34 games playing on one day of rest. The Bruins, meanwhile, are just 2-5 in their last seven games coming off a win.
