Saturday NHL Playoffs Opening Odds
(The Spread) – A Game 1 and a Game 2 in the conference semifinal round make Saturday yet another can’t-miss day of action in the NHL Playoffs.
The day kicks off at 3:00PM EST when the Philadelphia Flyers host the Boston Bruins in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series. Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Flyers -130 favorites and the Bruins +120 underdogs on the moneyline. The over-under has been set at 5.5.
According to the latest NHL trends, Boston is 10-9-0 straight up against Philadelphia over the last three seasons. Nine of 17 games in this series have gone over the total during the last three seasons.
Claude Giroux led the Flyers in their Round 1 series against the Buffalo Sabres with a goal and eight assists, while Boston’s Patrice Bergeron tallied two goals and five assist in the Bruins’ series versus the Montreal Canadiens.
At 9:05PM EST, the Vancouver Canucks host the Nashville Predators in Game 2 of that series. Vancouver won Game 1 by a 1-0 final and are -205 on the money line for Game 2. The over-under is 5.
According to the latest public betting information, 56 percent of bets are on the Canucks -205.
