The over/under total has been set at 5.5 runs. Philadelphia missed out of the playoffs last season while the Lightning won the Eastern Conference and lost to the Blackhawks in six games in the Stanley Cup Final. The Lightning have won eight of their last 10 against the Flyers and the two have hit the over in five of their last six meetings.
The final game of note has the Colorado Avalanche hosting the Minnesota Wild at 9PM ET. Oddsmakers have the Wild as a -115 favorite on the road, while the Avalanche are getting odds of +105 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5 goals. Minnesota reached the Western Conference semifinals last season while Colorado fell shy of the playoffs. Minnesota has won eight of its last 10 against the Avs and the two have pushed or hit the under in five straight meetings.
