Predators roll past Kings
Nashville claimed a 4-1 victory Saturday night at Los Angeles to move to 19-15-6 on the season. Rocco Grimaldi gave the Predators a 1-0 lead midway through the first period on assists from Craig Smith and Roman Josi. Ryan Johansen made it 2-0 with 44 seconds left in the first off assists by Josi and Mattias Ekholm. The Kings trimmed it to 2-1 through 40 minutes, but Nashville answered on a Yakov Trenin goal with 10:43 to play in the third period with assists going to Matt Irwin and Justin Watson. Smith completed the scoring a minute-plus later with an assist courtesy of Smith. Pekka Rinne stopped 23 shots on 24 shots to notch the win between the pipes.
Ducks lose third straight

Jakob Silfverberg evened the score at 1-1 for the Ducks with 32 seconds left in the first period on assists from Isac Lundestrom and Max Comtois. Max Jones gave Anaheim a 2-1 advantage at the 17:36 mark of the second period with assists coming from Michael Del Zotto and Sam Steel. NHL Betting Trends
Nashville
The Predators are 5-2 in their last seven Sunday games. Nashville is 2-5 in its last seven games versus the Pacific Division.
Anaheim
The Ducks are 4-9 in their last 13 home games. Anaheim is 0-7 in its last seven Sunday games.
Prediction:
The Ducks might not be the better team, but they benefit from a couple off days while the Predators are on the second end of a back-to-back. While it’s been a struggle much of the season for Anaheim, rest does count for something. When you also take into account that the home team is 6-0 in the last six meetings in this series, the Ducks look like an even better pick at plus money.
