Home team cashing in TB vs. Chicago
TAMPA, FL (The Spread) – The home team continues to cash for bettors in the Lightning and Blackhawks matchup.
Following the Lightning’s 4-3 win over the Blackhawks at home in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals, the home team is now 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams. The Lightning are also 7-2 in their last nine games versus the Hawks overall.
That said, one thing to consider as this series shifts to Chicago is that Tampa Bay is just 3-8 in its last 11 road games versus the Blackhawks. The under is also 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams in the Windy City, so perhaps we won’t see a repeat of the high-scoring affair from Game 2.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Blackhawks are -149 money line favorites versus the Lightning for Game 3 on Monday night. Tampa Bay, meanwhile, is +135 money line underdogs.
