Andrei Vasilevskiy allowed four goals on 32 shots during Thursday’s 4-1 loss to the Calgary Flames. Vasilevskiy made his share of important saves tonight, but it wasn’t enough against the Flames. For example, he made a big breakaway stop on Elias Lindholm right before teammate Alex Killorn scored the game-tying goal in the second frame. Unfortunately for the Bolts, they couldn’t muster any more offense tonight. He owns a 30-11-4 record with a 2.43 goals-against-average and a .917 save percentage this season.

Mike Smith (illness) was on the ice for Friday’s practice. Smith, who has missed the past two games due to an illness, worked in the backup crease during the session. Mikko Koskinen will get the nod on Saturday versus Tampa Bay, but Smith might be available to serve as his understudy. Stuart Skinner was also on the ice for Friday’s practice.
