Andrei Vasilevskiy allowed five goals on 31 shots in Tuesday’s 7-4 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. Neither goaltender was particularly good in this game but it was a more surprising performance from Vasilevskiy. The 27-year-old got torched for three goals in the first period. Vasilevskiy allowed another two goals within a two-minute span in the final frame that spelt the end of any chance at a comeback for the Lightning. He owns a 30-10-4 record with a 2.39 goals-against average and .918 save percentage.

Johnny Gaudreau is fine, according to Calgary GM Brad Treliving, following an injury scare on Tuesday night. Gaudreau was involved in a collision with Washington’s Tom Wilson late in Tuesday’s contest, but Treliving said that the two forwards clipped skates and not knees. That is a big relief for Gaudreau, the Flames and fantasy managers. Calgary is scheduled to host Tampa Bay on Thursday night.
