NHL Best Bet: Avalanche -115 (at Stars)

Few teams in the NHL are as dangerous offensively as Colorado when their top line gets rolling. Nathan MacKinnon continues to produce at an MVP level, entering the matchup with over 100 points and driving one of the league’s fastest transition attacks.

MacKinnon’s speed through the neutral zone forces defenders to back off, which opens space for linemates like Mikko Rantanen and Valeri Nichushkin to generate high-danger scoring chances.

Dallas is a legitimate contender and has excellent offensive talent of its own with Jason Robertson and Roope Hintz, but Colorado’s overall roster depth and elite blue line led by Cale Makar give the Avalanche the edge.

The Avs also tend to thrive in high-event games where their skill advantage becomes more noticeable.

Best Bet: Avalanche -115

NHL Best Bets: Canadiens -105 (at Ducks)

Montreal has quietly developed one of the league’s most exciting young cores. Captain Nick Suzuki continues to drive the offense with elite playmaking ability, while sniper Cole Caufield remains one of the NHL’s most dangerous shooters on the power play.

The Canadiens have been particularly strong offensively this season, with Suzuki approaching the 70-point mark while anchoring the top line.

Anaheim has improved significantly behind breakout forward Cutter Gauthier, but the Ducks can still struggle defensively against teams with speed and puck movement.

Montreal’s balanced offense and improving defensive structure give them the edge in what should be a competitive matchup.

Best Bet: Canadiens -105

NHL Best Bet: Blackhawks -143 (vs. Canucks)

Chicago continues to build around generational talent Connor Bedard, and the young star has delivered a strong sophomore campaign. Bedard’s combination of elite vision and shooting ability makes him one of the most dangerous offensive threats in the league.

The Blackhawks have also benefited from improved secondary scoring and stronger goaltending performances compared to last season.

Vancouver, meanwhile, has struggled throughout the year and has been inconsistent defensively. While Elias Pettersson remains a dynamic offensive player, the Canucks have had difficulty limiting scoring chances against.

With the game at the United Center and the Canucks struggling on the road, Chicago holds the matchup advantage.
