Ducks now favored to win Cup
ANAEHIM, CA (The Spread) – After recapturing the series lead in the Western Conference Finals with a win on Thursday night, the Ducks are now favored to win the Stanley Cup.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Ducks are 7/4 favorites to raise the Cup this season while the Lightning have the next best odds at 2/1 and the Blackhawks are 7/2. The Rangers, meanwhile, have the longest odds at 9/2.
After halting five Chicago power plays, Anaheim held on for a 2-1 win in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Thursday night to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. In the Eastern Conference, the Lightning have an opportunity to build a 3-1 series lead if they can beat the Rangers tonight at 8:00PM ET.
