PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Michael Vick spent an extra 20 minutes on the field after Eagles practice ended, trying to catch up on Philadelphia’s offense and get back into playing shape.
Vick was in good spirits Sunday and shared some laughs with teammate Donovan McNabb. Vick completed some deep passes during the 110-minute practice and had one broken up during a goal-line drill.
Vick practiced with the Eagles for the second time since he signed Thursday for $1.6 million with a team option for a second year at $5.2 million.
A three-time Pro Bowl pick during six seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, Vick served 18 months in federal prison for running a dogfighting ring. He was reinstated last month by the NFL after being out of action since 2006.
