EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -Pro Bowl defensive end Justin Tuck and starting receiver Domenik Hixon have been held out of the New York Giants’ practice because of injuries.
Coach Tom Coughlin announced Wednesday that Tuck and Hixon are being listed as day to day. The coach is uncertain whether they will play Sunday against the Buccaneers in Tampa, Fla.
Tuck hurt his left shoulder on Sunday night when tripped by Cowboys’ tackle Flozell Adams, a penalty that Coughlin called a flagrant foul. Hixon sprained his right knee in the game.
Receiver Mario Manningham, who had 10 catches in the 33-31 win over the Cowboys, was limited at practice with a sore shoulder.
