NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -All-Pro defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth missed a second straight practice because of a mild concussion as the Tennessee Titans stay cautious with him.
Coach Jeff Fisher said Thursday that Haynesworth is doing better.
“When you have the mild concussion symptoms, you have to not put him in any situations where he’d be involved in any collisions for a few days, so we’re waiting. But he’s been conditioning inside, and he should be fine,” Fisher said.
The Titans visit Cincinnati on Sunday.
“Obviously, he’s a very important part of our defense, and we’re hoping we have him available for Sunday,” Fisher said.
Haynesworth sat out Thursday along with Vince Young (knee, hamstring), defensive end Jacob Ford (chest) and running back Quinton Ganther (hamstring). Linebacker David Thornton did not take part in the padded portion of practice.
