NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Tennessee defensive tackle Jason Jones has hurt his right knee on the Redskins’ opening series of the game, and his return is questionable.
Jones was chasing Donovan McNabb near the goal line on Washington’s second play when he came up limping. Jones made it to the sideline where he was tended to by trainers for several minutes. He then walked to the locker room before returning to the sideline where he was staying loose on a stationary bicycle.
Washington safety Anderson Russell, who started for LaRon Landry, slid to the turf and hurt his leg on an 87-yard punt return by Marc Mariani in the first quarter. He had to be helped off the field, but no report on his condition was immediately available.
