HOUSTON (AP) -Houston’s formerly high-powered offense was nowhere to be found in the season opener.
The Texans have to figure out how to get back on track before traveling to Tennessee on Sunday.
On Monday, coach Gary Kubiak continued to shoulder most of the blame for the 24-7 loss. He says he saw confusion among some veteran offensive linemen and “that’s telling you that you’re doing something wrong” as a coach.
Houston’s offense ranked third in the NFL last season with more than 382 yards a game. On Sunday, it managed just 183 total yards.
