ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -Just because he’s now playing in Cincinnati doesn’t mean receiver Terrell Owens fails to keep track of his former team, the Buffalo Bills.
And that means T.O. isn’t surprised Ryan Fitzpatrick replaced Trent Edwards as Bills quarterback this season. Owens called that move only “a matter of time” during a conference call with Buffalo reporters Wednesday.
As for questions the Bills had last offseason about him hitting a wall, Owens believes he’s answered those in leading the Bengals in catches (59), yards (834) and touchdowns (seven).
It was just like old times for Owens. He was both outspoken and enthusiastic in discussing himself and the Bills (1-8), who prepare to play at the Bengals (2-7) on Sunday.
