PITTSBURGH (AP) – The AFC champion Pittsburgh Steelers had one final team meeting, determined to put the crushing Super Bowl loss to Green Bay behind them.
Almost 48 hours after the loss, coach Mike Tomlin met with the Steelers on Tuesday and told them the franchise remains committed toward winning the Lombardi Trophy.
Tomlin, of course, wasn’t around to talk about the meeting. Same with Ben Roethlisberger and Troy Polamalu. The Steelers let two players talk to the media: Antwaan Randle El and Chris Hoke.
Both say players are worried about what will happen when the collective bargaining agreement expires March 3. Hoke says he believes his teammates will continue to work hard and prepare for another run at the Super Bowl, even if there is a lockout.
