NEW YORK (AP) -The crucial AFC North matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens on Dec. 5 will remain on Sunday night.
The NFL could have moved another game into the slot under its flexible scheduling policy, but the league said Monday it wasn’t making a change in Week 13. And no wonder. The Steelers and Ravens are tied for first in their division heading into this weekend and their meeting could have major implications on AFC playoff seeding.
Baltimore and Pittsburgh are both 7-3, with the Steelers playing at Buffalo and the Ravens hosting Tampa Bay on Sunday.
What could be a key NFC South game between the Falcons and Buccaneers on Dec. 5 will move from 1 to 4:15 p.m. EST on Fox.
