PITTSBURGH (AP) -The Pittsburgh Steelers have hired Brandon Hunt to be their pro scouting director following the departure of Doug Whaley, who became the Buffalo Bills’ assistant general manager.
Hunt joined the Steelers in 2005 and spent two seasons as an intern in their player personnel department. He became a pro scout for the Houston Texans in 2007.
Hunt was a four-year starting offensive lineman at Division II Indiana (Pa.) University from 2000-03, and was named to the all-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference team at guard.
