FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) -The New York Jets are hardly making things easy for themselves this season.
A few lucky breaks here and some big plays there have the Jets tied for the best record in the NFL at 7-2. Rex Ryan says people can call his team lucky all they want because he hopes “we’re lucky all the way to the Super Bowl.”
The last few wins have come late in games, with New York becoming the first team in league history to win consecutive road games in overtime, pulling out a 26-20 win in Cleveland on Sunday.
New York is 5-0 on the road, success right tackle Damien Woody says the Jets need to bring home. They’ll get the chance with two games in a span of five days as they play struggling Houston on Sunday and Cincinnati on Thanksgiving.
