NEW YORK (AP) -Media reports say Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be suspended for four to six games for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
In a story posted on its website Wednesday, ESPN cites multiple anonymous sources. ESPN reports that the suspension would contain conditions that would allow the length of the ban to be reduced based on Roethlisberger’s behavior.
FoxSports.com also reported the conditional suspension.
Last month a 20-year-old college student accused Roethlisberger of sexually assaulting her in a Georgia nightclub. Last week, prosecutors decided not to charge Roethlisberger in the case.
