NEW YORK (AP) -The Washington Redskins will play the Seattle Seahawks at 4:30 p.m. EST next Saturday afternoon in an NFC wild-card game that will open the NFL playoffs.
That will be followed by Jacksonville at Pittsburgh at 8 p.m. Saturday night in an AFC game.
The New York Giants will play Tampa Bay at 1 p.m. EST Sunday, followed by either Tennessee or Cleveland at San Diego at 4:30 p.m.
Washington (9-7) wrapped up the final NFC playoff spot Sunday by beating Dallas 27-6. The Redskins will meet Seattle (10-6) the champion of the West.
The Giants (10-6) are the fifth-seeded team and the Bucs (9-7) are the fourth-seeded team as the South champions.
Jacksonville (11-5) is the fifth seed in the AFC and Pittsburgh (10-6) is the North champion.
San Diego (11-5) is the West champion and has the third seed. The Titans would earn the sixth seed if they beat Indianapolis on Sunday night.
