CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -Police say while the investigation continues into the death of Cincinnati Bengals Chris Henry they have yet to determine whether to file charges in connection with the fatal incident.
Henry died Thursday from massive head injuries, a day after falling out of the back of a pickup truck driven by his fiancee, Loleini Tonga. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police described the incident as a domestic dispute.
Police spokesman Robert Fey said Monday that Tonga hasn’t been criminally charged in his death, or has she been cited for any traffic violations. But Fey said the investigation continues.
Henry was away from the Bengals after being placed on injured reserve last month. His funeral is scheduled for Tuesday in Louisiana.
