TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers was removed from Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a shoulder injury. The Packers said it was a coach’s decision and that the quarterback might return.
On his last play, Rodgers threw a 48-yard touchdown pass to Greg Jennings with 1:46 remaining in the third quarter. The TD trimmed Green Bay’s deficit to 20-14, and the Packers took a 21-20 lead early in the fourth quarter on Charles Woodson’s 62-yard interception return.
Matt Flynn replaced Rodgers for Green Bay’s first offensive possession of the fourth quarter. Rodgers was standing on the sideline.
