Jones leads the Jaguars with 50 catches for 586 yards and two touchdowns. Jerry Porter, the team’s top offseason acquisition, started in his place.
Jacksonville also was without two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle John Henderson (knee) and receiver Troy Williamson (groin). Henderson missed his second straight game because of a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee.
The Titans were without starting cornerback Nick Harper (ankle), defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch (groin) and receiver Justin McCareins (concussion).
