EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was having an MRI on his right leg in the wake of his injury against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Giants spokesman Pat Hanlon said the results will be reviewed by Dr. Russell Warren later Monday and the team will make an announcement after the doctor talks to Manning.
Manning hurt his right heel in a non-contact injury in the Giants’ 27-16 win. Manning still had some swelling and soreness Monday morning. He got ice and stimulation treatment and went through his strength program before attending meetings.
Manning was not immediately available for comment. His status for Sunday’s home game against Oakland is uncertain.
