MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -Detroit Lions wide receiver Roy Williams was on the sideline with a wrap on his right knee in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
The team called his return probable. Williams caught five passes for 85 yards for the Lions before the injury, including a 43-yard catch down the sideline after an illegal contact penalty on Vikings cornerback Cedric Griffin. Williams was tackled at the 3 on that play, setting up a touchdown.
Williams had 111 yards and one touchdown receiving in Detroit’s last meeting with Minnesota, an overtime win on Sept. 16.
