ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) -The Detroit Lions have hired Jeremiah Washburn as assistant offensive line coach.
Detroit coach Jim Schwartz announced Washburn’s hiring on Saturday. Washburn joins the Lions after spending six seasons working in the player personnel department for the Baltimore Ravens.
For the past four seasons, Washburn was the Ravens’ area scout for the Southwest.
In 2002, Washburn entered the NFL as a football operations assistant with the Carolina Panthers. He was a three-year guard at Arkansas.
