EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -New York Jets wide receivers Jerricho Cotchery and Brad Smith are inactive for the team’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
Cotchery, who has an injured left hamstring, was replaced in the starting lineup by David Clowney. Cotchery was injured in practice Oct. 8 and sat out two days before making one catch for 4 yards last Monday night at Miami. Smith injured a quadriceps muscle in the loss.
Running back-turned-wide receiver Danny Woodhead, the former NCAA career rushing leader, was active for the Jets.
Buffalo starting middle linebacker Paul Posluszny (broken forearm) and starting safety Donte Whitner (thumb) were both active. Return man Roscoe Parrish (thigh) was inactive, as were safety Bryan Scott and right tackle Jonathan Scott.
