EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) -The Minnesota Vikings are back from their bye week with an even bigger lead in the NFC North.
Green Bay and Chicago each lost on Sunday and fell three games behind the Vikings in the race. At 7-1, the Vikings start a stretch of three straight home games against Detroit, Seattle and Chicago. None of those teams has a winning record.
The Vikings met Monday for a light practice after a week off. Coach Brad Childress said cornerback Antoine Winfield was able to move around on the field a little. Winfield hurt his right foot against Baltimore on Oct. 18 and missed the next two games.
