IRVING, Texas (AP) -Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware says he’s feeling good, yet his status for Saturday’s night’s game in New Orleans is still uncertain.
Ware has a sprained neck and wasn’t on the field for the first portion of practice Wednesday.
When the locker room was open earlier in the day, Ware said things were “going good” and that he was headed to work out. Ware was scheduled to have X-rays, an MRI exam and other tests to see if the swelling had gone and make sure there were no problems.
Ware hurt his neck Sunday when he slammed headfirst into a San Diego lineman. He was taken off the field on a stretcher and hospitalized briefly before being released that night.
