INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Peyton Manning isn’t about to change things during the worst slump of his pro career.
The league’s four-time MVP says he will continue to work hard, still be aggressive with his throws and insists everything will work out if the Colts execute plays better.
Manning has thrown 11 interceptions in the past three weeks and had four returned for touchdowns. Not surprisingly, the Colts (6-6) have lost all three and may need to sweep the last four games just to make the playoffs.
Indy’s predicament is almost as unusual as the one Manning faces as he tries to fight his way out of the slump. When asked if he could remember enduring a stretch like this one, Manning told reporters it was merely a three-game losing streak.
