INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -The Indianapolis Colts don’t mind the close games as long as they keep winning.
The team’s 17-15 victory at Baltimore on Sunday marked the fourth straight week the Colts have won a game by four points or less. It’s a stark contrast from their last 10-0 run in 2005, when they won every game by at least seven points.
Coach Jim Caldwell thinks the close calls give his team a tougher mindset going into next week’s game against the Houston Texans.
Caldwell acknowledged Monday that the Colts are playing the kind of games that they will likely face in the playoffs. He believes it also gives the Colts an idea of what still needs improvement.
