KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brodie Croyle limped off with a sprained left knee against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, his first game back since separating his shoulder in the season opener.
The oft-injured Croyle, back after missing four games, was injured on Kansas City’s 14th play when he was sandwiched between two rushing defenders while throwing a pass early in the second quarter. He limped off the field, slammed his helmet to the turf once he reached the sideline, then hobbled down a tunnel.
Croyle, who was replaced by Damon Huard, has now been injured in four of his 12 career games. He is winless in eight career starts.
