CINCINNATI (AP) – Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman was shaken up on a hit by Bengals defensive lineman Frostee Rucker that didn’t draw a penalty.
Rucker hit Freeman in the chest at the end of a scramble, knocking the quarterback backward. Tampa Bay coaches argued for a penalty but didn’t get it.
Freeman got up but was wobbly and went to his knee. He was replaced by Josh Johnson, who completed two passes before the Buccaneers punted.
