NEW ORLEANS (AP) – Tampa Bay receiver Maurice Stovall and cornerback Elbert Mack have been injured in the Buccaneers’ regular season finale against the New Orleans Saints.
Mack, a reserve cornerback who plays on special teams, was removed from the game with what team officials termed a head injury after a hard collision on kickoff coverage in the second half.
Mack was able to walk to the bench on his own, but team officials said he is out for the remainder of the game.
Stovall had two catches for 45 yards before hurting his groin in the first half and team officials have said his return is questionable.
