BEREA, Ohio (AP) -Cleveland Browns running back Jamal Lewis did not participate in the early part of practice, presumably so he could get treatment on an injured hamstring.
Lewis also did not practice on Wednesday with the injury, which he sustained in Sunday’s 27-6 loss to the Denver Broncos. He was seen in the locker room before practice Thursday, but he left as soon as reporters were allowed in.
The Browns play at Baltimore on Sunday.
Lewis was not on the field with his teammates during the 30 minutes of practice open to the media.
If Lewis can’t play, rookie running back James Davis, who attended the same Atlanta high school as Lewis, will likely start against the Ravens. Davis was inactive last week because of a shoulder injury.
