ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) – Buffalo Bills receiver Lee Evans hurt his ankle in the second quarter and won’t return against Cleveland.
Evans was injured at the end of Jonathan Stupar’s 35-yard reception that led to Rian Lindell’s 30-yard field goal and gave the Bills a 10-6 halftime lead. He was trailing Stupar on the play, and tumbled down behind the tight end.
The seven-year veteran is second on the team with 37 catches for 578 yards and four touchdowns. He has never missed a game in his career, playing in 109 straight games, including 71 consecutive starts.
