According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the latest odds for the game have the Panthers as a 4.5-point favorite against the Broncos tonight. The over/under total is currently listed at 44 points. These two meet tonight at 6:30PM ET on CBS.

Manning is set to appear in his fourth Super Bowl tonight, but his abilities are in questions as he is battling a number of lingering injuries that have caused him to have arguably his worst season as a pro quarterback. He has thrown for 2,249 yards and 9 touchdowns during the season with 17 interceptions and a 59.8 completion percentage. In the playoffs, Manning is just 38 of 69 passing for 398 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions.

There are a number of different odds for Manning in this game. The most notable props are an over/under of 236.5 passing yards, an over/under of 21.5 completions, and over/under of 1.5 touchdown passes and a line of -215 to throw an interception. If you just ignore this season as is, Manning’s Super Bowl history isn’t all that great. He has thrown for 860 yards in three games with 3 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.

In the 10 games that Manning has started and finished, he has completed 22 passes in just five of them while surpassing 237 yards in six of them. He has had multiple touchdown passes in just four games and thrown an interception in nine total games, but has yet to throw a pick in his last three appearances. Carolina has the 11th-ranked pass defense, so the possibility to move the ball is there, however the Panthers had a league-best 24 interceptions during the regular season and they have followed that up with six in two playoff games.

Another interesting prop for Manning is his longest completion, which is listed at 34.5 yards. Manning has completed a 34-yard pass in each of the two playoff games, but nothing further than that. He hasn’t completed a pass of over 35 yards since Nov. 8 against the Indianapolis Colts. Does he have the arm strength to go deep against the Panthers tonight?
