Washington Football Team DFS Spin
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Washington is planning to start Alex Smith (questionable, calf) for Week 17 against the Eagles. Smith came out of the practice week “feeling fine” and is on track to return for Sunday night’s win-and-in game. There was never much doubt over his status. Smith’s supporting cast is the larger concern with Antonio Gibson (toe) and Terry McLaurin (ankle) both questionable.
Philadelphia Eagles DFS Spin
Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said Jalen Hurts will start in Week 17 against Washington. It’s only worth noting since the Eagles’ season is over and the team could rest some starters in it’s finale. Hurts remains a top fantasy option thanks to his rushing upside. He could see slightly depressed DFS usage after a relatively down Week 16 against Dallas.
Washington vs. Eagles Betting Prediction
The over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams and is 5-1 in the last six meetings in Philadelphia. The over is also 5-2 in the Football Team’s last seven games coming of an ATS loss and is 11-5 in the Eagles’ last 16 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.
