Texans vs. Raiders Odds
The Houston Texans hope to erase their memories from last week by getting a win over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Let’s preview the game and take a look at the point spread and trends.
Game Preview:
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Texans a 3-point favorite over the Raiders in Week 4. The over/under total has been set at 43 points.
The Texans suffered their first loss of the season last week after the Cowboys knocked them off in Houston. Making matters worse, they could be without star receiver Andre Johnson for Sunday’s game because he’s currently dealing with a high ankle sprain. Even though the Raiders are 1-2, they can’t be taken lightly.
Oakland should have two wins on the year, but kicker Sebastian Janikowski missed a makable 32-yard field goal in the closing seconds of the Raiders’ game last week in Arizona. Oakland hasn’t been the most dominating team in the NFL, but they’ve certainly been competitive and their lone win did come at home in Week 2 against the Rams.
Below is a preview of Sunday’s game.
Line Movement & Updated Odds:
The Raiders opened as 4-point underdogs but given the injuries the Titans have, the line has dropped all the way to 3. The over/under total is currently sitting at 43 after opening at 44.
