Houston Texans DFS Spin
Deshaun Watson completed 21-of-30 passes for 219 yards and one touchdown in the Texans’ Week 14 loss to the Bears. Watson is playing behind a bottom-three offensive line and his top six targets on Sunday were Chad Hansen, Jordan Akins, Steven Mitchell, Keke Coutee, Duke Johnson, and Buddy Howell. The Texans’ front office has set up their franchise-lifting quarterback with absolutely nothing. It’s going to be an uphill battle for Watson to grind out top eight fantasy finishes down the stretch, but he should have better odds whenever Brandin Cooks returns or when Houston faces an easier defense. Watson will be on the QB1/2 border in Indianapolis for Week 15.
Indianapolis Colts DFS Spin
Philip Rivers completed 19-of-28 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns in the Colts’ Week 14 win over the Raiders. The Colts were on another level than the Raiders in all phases. Jonathan Taylor rushed for 150 yards and two scores on the ground, and Rivers was poised in the pocket. Both of his touchdowns went to T.Y. Hilton who looks refreshed after missing a game due to injury. The Colts offense is balanced, physical, and healthy right now. Rivers will be a high-floor QB2 against the Texans in Week 15, but his ceiling is in check because of the team’s insistence on using wildcats and Jacoby Brissett near the goal-line.

The Texans are just 3-12-2 against the spread in their last 17 meetings with the Colts, are 4-10 against the number in their last 14 games overall and have failed to cover in seven of their last 10 conference games. The Colts, meanwhile, have covered in four of their last five games overall, are 4-1 against the number in their last five games as a favorite and are 9-4 at the betting window in their last 13 games against fellow AFC South rivals.
