Bucs vs. 49ers Spread Prediction
The point spread for Sunday’s 49ers-Bucs game has dropped a full point off the opening number. Will San Francisco pull off a small upset Sunday against Tampa Bay when these conference foes kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Bucs are 2-point favorites to beat the 49ers. The total, meanwhile, sits at 54.5 points. As of this writing, 66% of the public betting tickets are on the Bucs to cover the point spread.
San Francisco 49ers
49ers LB Reuben Foster was arrested on domestic violence charges Saturday evening in Florida. Foster was arrested at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay where the 49ers are staying before playing the Bucs on Sunday. He was booked into jail at 11:11 PM ET. Beyond that, details are scarce. It’s the second time this year Foster has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. The earlier charges were dropped. Foster will obviously not play Sunday and quite likely the rest of the season. Considering his off-the-field history, his NFL career is in doubt.
Tampa Bay
Bucs LB Lavonte David (knee) is out for Week 12 against the Niners. As are S Justin Evans (toe) and CB M.J. Stewart (foot). The Niners won’t have Pierre Garcon (knee, out), but it’s still shaping up to be a tremendous matchup for Nick Mullens against the Bucs’ injury-riddled secondary. He’s a viable low-end QB1 on Sunday.
NFL Betting Trends
San Francisco
The 49ers are 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 games overall and are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games versus conference foes.
Tampa Bay
The Bucs are 1-6-1 against the spread in their last eight games overall and 0-4-1 ATS in their last five conference matchups.
Prediction
The 49ers still look like they’re playing for Kyle Shanahan but are the Bucs laying over for Dirk Koetter? The Bucs don’t play defense and Shanahan knows this Tampa defense from his two years in Atlanta as the Falcons offensive coordinator. He should put together a successful game plan for Nick Mullens, who has sparked San Francisco’s offense the past two weeks. The Foster incident gives me pause but if the 49ers aren’t overly distracted I like them to win this game outright.
