Bucs vs. Saints Total Prediction
The Bucs evened their record at 2-2 when they upset the Rams last week and now, they’ll travel to New Orleans on Sunday to battle the 3-1 Saints. Given that Tampa Bay hung 55 points on L.A. last week, is the over a safe play for bettors this weekend?

Tampa Bay Bucs Fantasy Spin
Chris Godwin (hip) missed practice on Wednesday. Godwin missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday last week then went for 12/172/2 against the Rams with ease. There’s no need to panic. He’s expected to play on Sunday in the Superdome.
New Orleans Saints Fantasy Spin
Alvin Kamara rushed 17 times for 69 yards and caught three passes for 20 yards in Week 4 against the Cowboys. Kamara didn’t have any chunk plays, but he ran hard and kept the chains moving for a Saints offense that didn’t score any touchdowns. He’s taken a step back with Teddy Bridgewater the last two weeks, getting held under 70 rushing yards in both games, but Kamara’s pass game role has kept his floor high. Kamara is on pace for 1,437 total yards and six touchdowns through the first month of the season. He should see his red-zone chances increase down the stretch.
NFL Betting Trends
Tampa Bay
The over is 11-4 in the Bucs’ last 15 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
New Orleans
The under is 5-1 in the Saints’ last six games after allowing less than 15 points in their previous contest.
Prediction
The over is 14-5 in the Bucs’ last 19 road games, is 21-8 in their last 29 games played in October and is 5-2 in their last seven games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game. On the other side, the over is 7-1 in the Saints’ last eight games played in Week 5 and while they struggled offensively last Sunday night versus the Cowboys, I see a potential shootout this weekend between these NFC South rivals.
