The Sunday Night Football matchup in Week 6 will be a rematch of a wild SNF meeting a year in Pittsburgh when the Chargers host the Steelers at 8:20 p.m. ET. Are the Chargers laying too many points or will they rebound following an ugly loss to the Broncos?

Public Betting Trends
According to our NFL Football Public Betting Chart page, the Chargers are receiving 54% of the betting tickets from online sportsbooks.
Pittsburgh Steelers Fantasy Spin
Mason Rudolph (concussion) returned to practice Wednesday. He’s still in the league’s protocol but it’s a good sign that Rudolph was able to don helmet and pads for Wednesday’s practice. We still expect UDFA Devlin Hodges to start Sunday night following Rudolph’s nasty fall against the Ravens in Week 5. With Jaylen Samuels (knee) shelved for the next month, James Conner is the only skill player that can truly be trusted for fantasy purposes against the Chargers given the ambiguity of Hodges’ presence under center.
Los Angeles Chargers Fantasy Spin
Chargers placed C Mike Pouncey (neck) on injured reserve, ending his 2019 season. The team signed C/G Ryan Groy in a corresponding move. Pouncey will also undergo neck surgery, potentially sidelining him beyond 2019. Los Angeles was already charged in allowing a top-10 pressure rate (31.7%) on offense but that mark will likely plummet further with Dan Feeney shifting to center and Forrest Lamp moving into the starting lineup at left guard. The team’s lack of viable bodies available to keep Philip Rivers clean is all the more reason to keep Austin Ekeler involved in the passing game for every game plan moving forward.
NFL Betting Trends
Pittsburgh
The Steelers are 7-1-1 against the spread in their last nine games following an ATS win.
Los Angeles
The Chargers are 1-4-1 against the spread in their last six home games and are 11-28-1 ATS in their last 40 home games.
Prediction
The Chargers have the better team from top to bottom but I don’t like anything about laying 6.5 points with this team right now, I don’t care who the opponent is. They were held to 13 points by the Broncos last week and their offense looks like its running on a treadmill. They nearly blew a lead in Week 1 against the Colts, did blow a lead against the Texans in Week 3 and outside of their 30-10 victory over the tanking Dolphins, the Bolts haven’t been overly impressive in any game this season. With Rudolph likely back for the Steelers, I’ll take the points in a revenge spot for Pittsburgh.
NFL Week 6 Prediction: Pittsburgh Steelers +6.5
