Pittsburgh Steelers DFS Spin
Ben Roethlisberger completed 33-of-53 passes for 305 yards, a touchdown, and an interception in the Steelers’ Week 13 loss to Washington. Roethlisberger’s interception came on a batted pass that was brought down by LB Jon Bostic. It was just before the two-minute warning and in field goal range for Washington. Roethlisberger routinely had passes knocked down or tipped at the line of scrimmage. Despite logging zero sacks, the Washington defensive line was the difference in Pittsburgh finally losing. Eric Ebron and Diontae Johnson each logged multiple drops. Overall, Roethlisberger’s pass-catchers logged five drops at a minimum. It wasn’t a perfect outing from the 38-year-old quarterback but his supporting cast did him no favors. He should bounce back as a high-end QB2 versus Buffalo next week.
Buffalo Bills DFS Spin
Josh Allen completed 32-of-40 passes for 375 yards and four touchdowns in the Bills’ 34-24, Week 13 win over the 49ers Monday night. He rushed for just 11 yards on six attempts. Flawless as a passer, Allen completed 80% of his passes and was cooking all night with all the time in the world to throw behind a sturdy Buffalo offensive line. This was Allen’s first four-score passing game of the season and fist since Week 3. His touchdowns went to Cole Beasley (five yards), Dawson Knox (four), Isaiah McKenzie (23), and Gabriel Davis (28). McKenzie and Davis were both wide open on their scores. Allen has been incredible in Year 3, throwing with anticipation and making accurate tight-window throws. He’ll be in the MVP conversation at the end of the year with a strong finish. Allen gets the Steelers at home in Week 14.
