ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Tyler Lockett (hip) is expected to play in Week 4 against the 49ers. Lockett practiced Friday after being downgraded to a DNP on Thursday. The veteran receiver has a history of posting middling fantasy numbers while playing through injuries but it’s impossible to bench a receiver who has seen 20 targets from Russell Wilson through three games. Lockett is a risky fantasy option but his ceiling is worth chasing as a WR2.
San Francisco 49ers DFS Spin
George Kittle (calf) is questionable for Week 4 against the Seahawks. Coach Kyle Shanahan said the team will have a “good idea” by tomorrow whether Kittle can play, though they’re at least encouraged at this time that he was able to participate in some capacity on Friday. Ross Dwelley, who averaged two targets per game across nine starts last year, would replace Kittle off the bench if the latter is ruled out.
Seahawks vs. 49ers Betting Prediction
The Seahawks are 13-5-1 against the spread in their last 19 games versus the 49ers, are 11-4 against the number in their last 15 games as an underdog and are 32-15-4 against the spread in their last 51 games following a loss. On the other side, the 49ers are 1-4 against the spread in their last five home games, are 10-26-1 against the number in their last 37 games as a favorite and are 5-21-1 at the betting window in their last 27 games as a home favorite.
