SB 55 Prop Predictions: Ronald Jones
With Leonard Fournette emerging as the lead back for the Bucs this postseason, how much will Ronald Jones impact Sunday’s Super Bowl matchup between the Chiefs and Bucs?

Ronald Jones Super Bowl 55 Player Prop Predictions
As previously mentioned, Fournette has taken over as the Bucs’ lead back. This postseason, Fournette has rushed for 132, 107 and 74 yards on 23, 22 and 17 touches, while also finding the end zone in every playoff game thus far. Dating back to the regular season, Fournette has scored in five of his past six games with six total touchdowns over that span.
Over the past two games, Fournette has more snaps (49 and 45) than Jones (21 and 18), and has out-touched Jones 22-13 and 17-10, respectively. That production is further evidence that Fournette is Tampa’s primary back, while Jones is firmly slotted into a complementary role.
So what does that mean for Jones’ prop plays for the Super Bowl? It’s not a safe assumption that he’ll have a larger role against the Chiefs than he did versus Washington, New Orleans and Green Bay over the past month. Even if the Bucs fall behind and are forced to throw more, Fournette has been involved in the passing game too, so it’s not as if Jones stands to see more opportunities there either.
I’m going with several of unders for Jones on Sunday.
Rushing Yards: Under 37.5
Rushing Attempts: Under 8.5
